Online Learning
How are courses taught?
All courses are taught in real time by professional teaching artists, and supported by a moderator.
In addition to the class, the tutors may provide supplementary learning materials such as handouts, and assignments, based on their teaching methodology and the course.
Software and hardware recommendations
- Online courses are normally taught in real time over Zoom. See the minimum hardware and software requirements for using Zoom here.
- We recommend that you watch on a large screen, such as a desktop or laptop to view any instruction.
- While not required, we generally encourage students to turn on their webcams during the course to help create a feeling of community. You may also want to share your work with the instructor for feedback via the camera.
- If you have any questions during class, you can communicate with the tutor using your microphone or via the Zoom chat function.

Thinkific
Thinkific is the School’s online learning platform where students can access important resources such as recordings, handouts, and assignments.
A course is normally accessible for three months after the last class.
