Research Programme

Research at the School focuses on traditional art forms and on the roles of traditional art and arts practice in the world today. It offers opportunities to explore the world’s traditional art forms in relation to important questions about the meaning of art in the contemporary world, and about the roles of artists within their communities.

Our degree courses are validated, and degrees awarded by The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) in accordance with the academic and quality assurance framework set out in their Academic Quality Handbook.

The Kings Foundation School of Traditional Arts is registered with the Office for Students (OfS), an independent regulator of higher education in England that aims to ensure that every student, whatever their background, has a fulfilling experience of higher education that enriches their lives and careers.
