Our Impact
Bringing participants together across communities, our work facilitates cultural understanding and provides insight to the principles that underpin the traditional arts.
The School of Traditional Arts delivers unique education programmes at many academic levels and international locations, extending the ethos of its core programmes to different audiences.
Fostering Traditional Arts and Skills for a Changing World
The School exists to ensure that traditional arts and skills enrich our changing world. We offer courses suitable for anyone interested in traditional arts. Our pioneering postgraduate programmes (MA, MPhil and PhD) are based in the creative artistic practice of the traditional arts. Our Harmony programme, designed for primary schools, gives young people a more holistic view of the world. Our short courses have welcomed participants from 88 countries, both online and in person.
