We are back for Open House Festival 2026!

Come along and visit the King’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts in Shoreditch and learn about the unique architectural history of the building! From 17 – 19 September 2026, we have a range of activities available for all visitors to see and explore.

Drop in to discover displays of traditional arts and craftwork by our students, learn about our educational programmes, browse an open market featuring artwork by students and alumni, and watch live demonstrations of traditional techniques. Please be advised that not all vendors take card, and bring cash.

Panel Discussion: Reuse and Regeneration in Shoreditch
Thursday 17 September, 18:30-20:00
Join Matthew Lloyd, Neal Shasore, Alpa Depani and Dr Sydney Ayers Mercer for a discussion on the early reuse principles, the continuing cycle of regeneration in Shoreditch, and what the future holds for this vibrant piece of city.

Guided Building Tour
Friday 18 & Saturday 19 September
Explore the building with architect Matthew Lloyd and discover its innovative stacked ventilation system, ergonomic design and thoughtful architectural details.

Postgraduate and Library Tour
Friday 18 & Saturday 19 September
Take an alumni-led tour of our Postgraduate Studio and Library, where you will also see an exhibition of works by current students and alumni.
