The Netherlands

A group of staff, students and alumni from the Prince’s School were invited by The British Embassy, in The Hague, to promote a dialogue with students and tutors at two institutions : The Vrije Academie and the University of Twente.

Discussions and presentations focused on the experience of The Prince’s School in strengthening cultural awareness and creating common ground through community outreach work. The School demonstrated the ways in which the recollection of the universal principles that sustain and renew the traditional arts allow participants in our programmes to realise that each tradition shares the same principles of beauty derived from the order of Nature. This fosters greater tolerance between different faiths and cultures.
