ABOUT THE ARTIST

With a background in Applied Arts (Product Design), Tuqa has always been passionate about drawing and painting. She joined the programme with an interest in traditional patterns and aimed to deepen her knowledge in the language of traditional arts. She chose to specialize in ceramics after a year of introductions to different crafts, experimenting with a wide range of techniques in the medium and creating a variety of products. With her training, she aims to keep growing in her skills and eventually plans to establish her own ceramics business.
