ABOUT THE ARTIST

As an architect, Nada is deeply committed to traditional arts and crafts and joined the programme to gain more focused training in ceramics. Over the two years, she developed her drawing and ceramics skills significantly and produced clear and precise work. Nada is passionate about incorporating traditional motifs and patterns into everyday interior design and household items such as sinks and tubs, and seeks to find a balance between factory-production and hand-made artistry. Her time in the programme helped her work towards her goals of specializing in traditional ceramic tile-making and collaborating with interior designers to feature her unique hand-made tiles in contemporary interior spaces.
