About the artist

Mostafa’s background in videography and furniture making becomes apparent when observing the precision found in the mirror frame that he created during the traditional arts and crafts programme at Jameel House of Traditional Arts Cairo. The mirror frame is encompassed by two shutters on each side, and a shelf below. The exquisite piece was made using wood inlay and elaborate carving techniques.
