Amira’s dream was to create a large lantern whose patterns were harmonious. Her aim was to create something that was aesthetically pleasing in addition to being well-proportioned. After going through the preliminary stages of designing the form; creating models; drawing, carving, and piercing the floral patterns; she crafted an extraordinary lantern in which both beauty and functionality can be found.
