About

In collaboration with the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation (ACDF) and coinciding with the London Design Festival, we are delighted to host a demonstration workshop by Kamoliddin Abdullaev, at the School of Traditional Arts in London.

A master miniaturist specialising in book illustration, with elaborate pieces exhibited around the world, Abdullaev will create intricate compositions inspired by the ancient Uzbek miniature masters of the 14th and 15th centuries, using tempera and gold leaf as the main mediums.

Participants will have a chance to try their hand at traditional techniques in this unique opportunity to learn from a master painter. All material will be provided for the one-hour sessions.

The event is free to attend, registration required. Please register for one of the three timeslots – 11:00, 12:00. and 13:00.
